The customer needs to install an open source simple set of scripts that are securely polled by DBVu, the script then connects back to DBVu via SSL and pulls all the required database data, connects to the database servers, builds an XML file which is sent back to DBVu for analysis. The DeskPRO software is distributed as visible source PHP software. We use Symfony2 as our framework and doctrine for ORM. On the client side we use jquery, mootools and less extensively. Our software only requires MySQL to function but we use elasticsearch and memcached when available.
